What is Fentanyl? Fentanyl is a powerful synthetic opioid that is 50 -100 times more powerful than morphine. Originally developed as a pharmaceutical for pain management treatment of stage 4 and terminally ill cancer patients, it is applied in micro-dosages through a patch on the skin.
